21st Century Strategies offer special coaching for leaders seeking to "turn around" declining congregations to thrive in the post-modern world.
The marks of a declining church include maintaining membership roles by transfer or confirmation, slow response times for emerging mission, participation that does not mirror demographic diversity, and low adult faith formation. The marks of a thriving church include sensitivity to seekers, rapid response and innovative mission, participation that mirrors demographic diversity, and high expectations for adult spiritual growth.
These seminars train pastors in the principles, strategies, motivations, and mission foci required to reverse decline and allow the church to grow missionally, spiritually, relationally, numerically, and financially.
Testimony:
On Monday I had a great meeting with the 8 pastors you worked with in January for our Next Step (Turnaround) churches. We are meeting every month to share progress reports, pray, support each other, and share in mutual coaching about what is working. Trying to help each other not loose our nerve. It is a rich experience and they are doing great stuff! Dick Freeman and I share the facilitation, but we are handing off big chunks of it off to them. If any new Council Director asks you what to do with his/her time that will make a difference, you tell them to call me. This is great! I am already picking next year's bunch.
Thanks for all you have done for us.
