Hitchhiker Endorsement
Before I attended Hitchhikers Guide to Evangelism I was assuming that It was going to be a waste of my time. Just another boring conference filled with a bunch of area pastors that once it's all said and done still won't "get it". For someone who's only 26 years old I didn't feel that It was an event that could relate to me at all. I was really only attending because the church that I worked for was hosting the event.
For someone who has toured the United States in a signed band, I felt like I had a good handle on how to do radical ministry and evangelism.
Listening to The Bills was like a wake up call. It showed me how much I have missed the mark. More importantly Hitchhikers was so encouraging. It left me inspired and ready to make a difference. It changed the way I saw the church and what the church should be.
I would recommend Hitchhikers Guide to Evangelism for anyone in their twentys younger and older. You will definitely leave with a different perspective than the one you came in with. I would encourage all church leaders to attend (staff or volunteer). NOT just pastors. I believe it is vital to get as many people as possible on the same page so that we can make a REAL impact for the kingdom.
